SMARTCHAIN WP3 (Social Innovations) has just finalised the implementation of twelve Community of Practice (CoP) events in France, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The main objective of these events was the validation of the definition, conceptual framework, key drivers, best practices, and enabling environment for social innovations (SI) in short food supply chains (SFSCs) presented in the first tasks of WP3. The CoP qualitative technique was set up to obtain inputs from stakeholders and actors that participated in each of the nine-country CoP (World Café) events, as well as facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across stakeholders and actors who work with or within SFSCs (e.g., representatives of SFSCs, citizens/consumers, researchers/experts, national policy makers).
Based on the results of WP3 and the implemented CoP, a leaflet has been prepared by the University of Crete (WP3 leader). The leaflet can be found here.
