Are Short Food Supply Chains (SFSCs) more environmentally sustainable than long chains?
This hypothesis has been tested by the H2020 Strength2Food project in its latest published paper. This interesting article is a useful contribution to the discussion on the benefits vs limitations of SFSCs and, more importantly, aspects that need to be considered in promoting innovative and eco-efficient business models.
